The Spot

This was one of the best meals that I've had down here in Galveston. I love the unique vibe of this restaurant on the open rooftop patio. I got the Citrus snapper and I have to say that the key lime butter sauce was stunning and really made that dish. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture of it until I was halfway through.

The only complaint we had was that it was SUPER hot inside and there were no outside seats available. Which, honestly, we expected. Other than that.... Top tier service. For as busy as they were our food and drinks came super fast! Great environment with wonderful energy!

It's such a great place! Had a great lunch with a perfect view of the Gulf! The adult beverages were top-notch and major compliments to the bartender! Most tasty! I also appreciate the little umbella! LOL The meal was delicious, and I would be remiss if I didn't mention the onion rings. Hand cut onions and dipped in a very light tempura type batter before being deep fried. You can tell the difference between a hand-made ring from a frozen box ring. They were so good I got 2 orders! 1 to go.

This place was a recommendation, so I decided to check it out for myself. Causal and relaxed atmosphere. I like their premise of 5 venues under one roof. If you don’t like the music playing, you can find a “spot” right for you in a different section. The shrimp kisses were grilled to perfection and the bacon was the right amount of crunch. I’m a sucker for tacos and their crispy Baja tacos did not disappoint. The beer-battered fish was nice and golden. Everything blends tastefully topping it off with the pineapple mango salsa on a corn tortilla. They also have a lemonade blueberry margarita that is a must-try! The service was okay. The server didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Overall would recommend.

Going here more into looking for the view. The seafood platter was fresh i think it was around $25 if I'm not wrong. i have been eating here several times especially the one in Galveston. Always order their SHRIMP PO BOY and their burger #topnotch The service is average because the place is quite packed and mostly self service, we are too busy enjoying the view anyway.

What a cool "Spot" 5 venues in one spot. Restuarant, tequila bar, rum bar, vodka/gin bar, and a tiki bar. We had fried pickles, chips and queso, and the Diablo shrimp. All fantastic. If the vibe isn't yours in this bar, go to that one. Parking is easy. 3 hours validated parking in the garage. We will come back again for sure.

This was our last stop for our anniversary trip and it did not disappoint. Our waitress went above and beyond to take care of us. It was going to be over an hour wait and we were told to go to the upper level and try to find a table which we did, we sat in that corner and watched the sunset and the waves crash. The food was amazing. We tipped our waitress well for letting us sit there for so long to enjoy the sunset. This place is open till 2 AM. It’s a Jamaican type of vibe with great music and thatch roof and lights everywhere. it has several levels and open patios that face the ocean. We definitely will be back. They even brought us out a piece of cake on the house for our anniversary! The manager stopped by one point to congratulate us and thank us for coming overall this is our now go to when we are in Galveston!

This place was hopping. My son got a smash burger that was really good and my daughter got the kid sliders. I got the seafood platter and it was an overkill of fried everything. The fish tacos my wife got were pretty good. We sat next to the window overlooking the beach. It was loud and chaotic. But fun.
